The Candy Band
While making the film, I came across the most rockin’ kids band I’ve ever heard - The Candy Band – they took simple kids songs and added such a real punk rock mentality that I couldn’t stop suggesting them to my aging rocker friends, whether or not they had kids.
Dodging the sappiness that can come with kid’s music, these four Detroit moms sway between punk rawk lullabies, edgy original rock numbers and romping fun mashups of modern songs – I just adore all their music.
