Palm Springs Short Fest Adventure

We got into the best festival we thought we could – the Palm Springs Short Fest, where only 300 shorts out of more than 3000 submitted each year get to play.

And the shorts we saw there were fantastic!  Our DP T.J. Williams Jr. and I were so impressed with what we saw.  Be on the lookout for a fantastic kid’s short “Paulie” directed by Andrew Nackman.

We also attended some fantastic panels (the highlight of the festival really) with festival directors from major festivals, DP Robert Elswit, and a showing of Gus Van Sant’s earliest work in shorts and visual art.
