Kickstarter Campaign Comes Through

THANK YOU All So Much for your help in donating and spreading the word. We reached the goal with hours to spare!  We raised over $3,000 for the film, and gained 450 Facebook likes through the campaign, as well as finding quite a few more people that love the idea of watching kids racing around in shopping carts.

If you or someone you know is still interested in donating to the project, you can donate through the IFP at :

Grocery Store Location Locked in
Also, some amazingly great news is that WE FOUND A STORE LOCATION! The Berringer Thriftway in Shoreline has generously allowed us to film during the mornings and overnight, opening up their beautiful store to our little film.  The address is 20150 Ballinger Way Northeast in Shoreline, anybody a local shopper?

A big thanks out to Jim Penhollow, the owner of the store, who made this all happen, we wouldn’t have a movie without his support.

And that leads us to the biggest announcement of all….

With so many elements coming together, we’ve finally set a date to start production!  On Monday, November 1st, While You Weren’t Looking will begin principal photography for approximately a week.  So many details yet to figure out, but the countdown has begun, and we’re officially green-lit for production.

Again, thank you all so much for you’re continued support, you’ve all been so integral in helping to ensure that this project happens in the way it should.

We look forward to sharing more of our progress with you all and welcome any thoughts, ideas or suggestions related to making the film the best it can possibly be.

One Final Note
Several of the WYWL crew starts this month on the feature production of ‘Eden’, a new film by Megan Griffiths.  We just wanted to share our big boundless love for this production, and hope you all can wish us luck as we dive into the nitty-gritty in the next months, this one’s going to be amazing.

Until we come up for air….

Much Love & Much Thanks,

-The WYWL Team
